Summary: A nostalgic poem

Smiling at pistachios
In a drawer forgot
Remembering the lovely day
They were just for me bought

We had such fun
Picking up seashells
And you made sure
I never fell

We ran around
There on that beach
Concluding with a
Shell for each

These salty nuts
Make me smile
We were us
For a little while

Now those days
Are past and gone
But there’s still memories
To smile upon
