My sunshine is gone
And yet there is light
My friends are all stars
Who shine through the night
They point me toward God,
The Lord of the light,
And assure me that I’ll
Again become bright.
Though my roller coaster
Has dropped from great heights,
I know, as they do,
That I’ll be alright.
